Elevate your career at RBC as a Global Financial Crimes Model Manager. In this role, you'll enhance the Financial Crimes monitoring program while validating models and mitigating risks.
As an integral manager within the Financial Crime Model Validation team, you will focus on ensuring model effectiveness and compliance. Your expertise will drive critical assessments, validate machine learning and heuristic models, and maintain a robust documentation and change management system. You will report directly to the Senior Manager and play a pivotal role in risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities: • Validate financial crimes models,
including machine learning and heuristic types • Conduct rigorous testing of sanctions and AML detection models • Provide model risk assessments and recommendations to leadership • Manage the Enterprise Model Risk Management inventory system • Document validation reports with clear findings
Requirements: • 3+ years in model development or risk management • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or SAS • Robust knowledge of financial crimes regulations • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
