We continuously evaluate our benefits and policies to meet current and future requirements.Position - Maintenance MRO / Completions PlannerLocation: Macon, GAWe are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance MRO / Completions Planner to support maintenance, modification, and aircraft interior completion projects within a Part 145 Repair Station environment.The Planner will develop and maintain work scopes, schedules, task cards, labor estimates, and material requirements while coordinating with Production, Quality Control, Materials, Engineering, and customers to support safe, compliant, on-time project execution.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview customer requirements, contracts, and work scopes for maintenance, alteration, and aircraft completion projectsResearch approved technical data including OEM maintenance manuals, IPCs, SRMs, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, STCs, Engineering Orders, and applicable approvalsDevelop and issue work packages, task cards, and routine and non-routine job cardsIdentify Required Inspection Items, critical tasks, and inspection hold points in coordination with Quality ControlDevelop labor-hour estimates and realistic task durations for applicable aircraft tradesGenerate material and parts requirements and coordinate with Purchasing and MaterialsTrack long-lead items, customer-furnished equipment, outside services, and material shortagesPlan required tooling, ground support equipment, calibrated tools, consumables, and shop resourcesBuild and maintain project schedules, including induction, milestone, and Return to Service datesMonitor daily project progress, schedule variance, labor hours, and completion statusManage the impact of non-routine discrepancies on project scope, cost, and scheduleParticipate in production meetings, project reviews, and customer status discussionsEnsure planned work is supported by current and approved technical data before release to productionMaintain accurate work order,



task, material, and labor information within applicable maintenance and ERP systemsSupport aircraft interior completion, refurbishment, and reconfiguration planningCoordinate with Engineering, DERs, and ODAs regarding technical data, certification, and conformity requirementsTrack customer changes and scope additions and incorporate them into revised work packages and schedulesSupport quoting, estimating, cost tracking, and project status reportingSupport internal, customer, and FAA audits as requiredFollow all company safety, quality, and regulatory proceduresPerform other duties as assignedCompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Planning and Organization - Develops accurate work packages and manages multiple project prioritiesTechnical Knowledge - Understands aircraft maintenance planning, approved technical data, and Repair Station requirementsAttention to Detail - Ensures planning documentation, material requirements, and task information are accurateProblem Solving - Responds effectively to discrepancies, schedule changes, and material constraintsCommunication - Coordinates effectively with customers, vendors, Production, Quality, Materials, and EngineeringProject Management - Tracks schedules, milestones, labor requirements, and project performanceAdaptability - Adjusts plans as project requirements and operational priorities changeQuality Focus - Balances schedule requirements with airworthiness, regulatory, and quality standardsSummary of Education, Experience and CertificationHigh school diploma or GED required.Minimum 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance planning, production control, or related MRO experience in an FAA-regulated maintenance or repair environment requiredFAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate preferredAircraft interior completion, refurbishment,



or reconfiguration planning experience preferredVIP or special-mission aircraft experience preferredBusiness jet experience preferredExperience supporting AS9100 implementation or audits preferredRequired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations and Repair Station documentation requirementsAbility to research and interpret maintenance manuals, IPCs, SRMs, ADs, Service Bulletins, engineering drawings, and approved technical dataAbility to develop work packages, task cards, labor estimates, and material requirementsExperience building and maintaining aircraft project schedulesAbility to manage multiple aircraft projects and competing prioritiesFamiliarity with maintenance tracking and ERP/MRO systemsExperience with Traxxall, CorrPlus, or comparable systems preferredProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and scheduling toolsFamiliarity with DER/ODA processes, conformity inspections, FAA Form 337, and 8110-3 approvals preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, analytical, and project management skillsAbility to make effective decisions under schedule pressure while maintaining regulatory and quality requirementsWork Workplace and Physical DemandsThe employee will work in a combination of office, hangar, and shop environments with exposure to aircraft systems and equipment.The position may require prolonged periods of sitting and standing, occasional extended hours, weekend or shift support based on project requirements, and occasional travel.The employee must regularly be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.GAL AeroStaff Contract Employee BenefitsEligible GAL AeroStaff contract employees may receive:Medical benefits after 90 days of employmentThree paid holidays per year after 90 days of employment: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's DayState-mandated sick leave, where applicableTravel pay, when applicable to the assignmentPer diem split, when applicable to the assignmentAccess to a 401(k) planAny employer 401(k) contribution or match is discretionary and is not guaranteed.
