Reporting to the Manager of Classroom Technical Infrastructure, the technician will provide essential support and maintenance for audiovisual systems. This position involves troubleshooting, hands-on support, and collaboration with faculty during lectures and events. Your insights into AV technologies will enhance the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and maintain AV equipment like control systems and video tools • Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks on AV setups • Educate faculty and staff on hybrid learning technologies • Set up AV equipment for campus events and manage transport • Work with IT on upgrading AV components
Requirements: • Two-year Diploma in Audio-Visual or related discipline • 1-2 years of experience in AV support or setup • Knowledge of video conferencing platforms • Valid G-Class Driver's License • Working at Heights certification
