As Director of Major Gifts, you'll partner with the Chief Development Officer to implement impactful fundraising strategies. Candidates should bring 5+ years of experience in major gifts and a successful record of closing high-value donations. This role emphasizes relationship-building and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement major gift fundraising strategies
• Manage a diverse portfolio of 100–150 prospects
• Lead major gift solicitations and negotiations
• Develop strategic proposals and engaging donor correspondence




• Mentor fundraising volunteers and staff
Requirements:
• Five years' experience in fundraising with major gifts
• Successful history of closing 5 and 6-figure donations
• Experience managing teams and partnerships
• Excellent organization and communication abilities
• Knowledge of donor CRM systems, especially Raiser's Edge
