Globe 24-7 is seeking a Resource Geologist for mining operations in Northern Ontario. This hybrid role offers remote work and requires occasional site travel.
As a key member of the Geology Department, you will report to the Geological Superintendent and provide essential operational and technical support. This role requires the development of geological models, oversight of mine reconciliation activities, and preparation of resource estimates that align with geological standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify geological and structural mapping data
• Build detailed geological and structural models
• Oversee the planning of diamond drilling programs
• Conduct mineral resource estimates and reports
• Evaluate exploration targets to promote resource initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or similar field
• At least eight years of industry experience
• Knowledge of geostatistical methods for data analysis
• Familiarity with geological modelling software an asset
• Team-oriented team-oriented mindset
