This Long Term Occasional position begins on September 2, 2026, and concludes on February 2, 2027. Qualified candidates must hold an Intermediate/Senior English certification. You will be responsible for delivering lessons that meet the standards set forth by the Ontario Ministry of Education while actively contributing to a positive learning workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide continuous education in English during absence
• Engage students with meaningful learning experiences
• Follow curriculum guidelines and school policies




• Keep communication open with faculty and staff
• Evaluate and assess student performance accurately
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario teaching certification - Intermediate/Senior English
• References must include current Principal/Vice-Principal
• Original Vulnerable Sector Check required
• A focus on student diversity and inclusion
• Experience with high school curriculum preferred
