The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings. The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers in a clear, concise, and informative manner. The candidate will be responsible for advising on menu selection and recommendations. The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs. The candidate must describe and advise on wine selection. The candidate must greet customers, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages. The candidate must be able to serve food and beverages. The candidate will be responsible for taking orders and relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff. The candidate must provide excellent customer service.



Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language. There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry. The candidate has no supervision responsibilities. The candidate must have a Food and Beverage Server trade certificate, Smart Serve Certification,Customer Service Excellence Certificate,Food and Beverage Server Training Certification and Responsible Beverage Service Certificate. The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills. The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills. The candidate should be organized and flexible. The candidate must be capable of acting independently and taking initiative. The candidate should be reliable. The candidate should be a good team player. Work setting
