Adecco is currently hiring a full-time

Field Business Technician

for our client in Grande Prairie, AB. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting operational teams.

Reporting to the Senior Field Business Technician, you will provide day-to-day administrative support, coordinate communications, maintain documentation, and assist with various operational and business processes. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and build strong relationships across departments.

Shift:

Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week | Overtime may be required

Job type:

Temporary 12-month| Full-time

Responsibilities: Administrative Support

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the department

Prepare and maintain correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and procedures

Assist with the development and execution of communication plans

Support various departmental projects and initiatives

Communication & Coordination

Act as a key communication resource within the department

Distribute information to employees through Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, bulletin boards, and other communication channels





Ensure communications are delivered accurately and in a timely manner

Maintain departmental records and documentation

Operational Support

Coordinate requests and activities with internal departments

Support invoice processing and requisition administration

Assist with Information Technology service requests and follow-up activities

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders

Office & Equipment Management

Coordinate maintenance and service requests for office equipment

Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and arrange repairs as required

Monitor and replenish office supplies and equipment inventories

Ensure administrative resources are available to support daily operations

Documentation Management

Update and distribute procedures, monitoring guides, organizational charts, handbooks, and manuals

Maintain document control and version management processes

Ensure information remains accurate and current

Health, Safety & Compliance

Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E;) requirements

Support departmental compliance initiatives and administrative processes





Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications and Skills:

Administrative or Business Diploma from a technical school or community college preferred

Minimum 2 years of relevant administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience within oil and gas, energy, field operations, or industrial environments is considered a strong asset

Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint

Experience with SAP is considered an asset

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Professional, confidential, and customer-service focused approach

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills

Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
