This part-time role focuses on assisting newcomer youth in integrating into their communities through various programs and services. Candidates should possess a background in Youth Development or Social Sciences and have experience working with at-risk youth. Your mission is to foster social connections and provide vital resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop relationships with immigrant youth and their families
• Facilitate workshops on key social issues
• Provide tailored information and orientation for youth
• Plan, implement, and assess youth activities
• Collaborate with local organizations for shared programming
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• 2 to 3 years of experience with youth
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of local community resources
• Clean driver's abstract and reliable vehicle required
