As an Autism Support Assistant, reporting to the Manager of Services and Supports, you will ensure daily support aligns with quality of life goals for people with Autism. You will utilize your creativity and resourcefulness to implement personalized plans while maintaining safety and dignity. This role emphasizes teamwork to enhance personal fulfillment and health for individuals supported.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support to enhance quality of life
• Implement support plans according to participant goals
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, addressing safety concerns




• Document health records and other necessary documentation
• Administer medication per agency policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Developmental Service Worker Diploma or related experience
• Ability to support individuals with Autism effectively
• Robust oral and written communication skills
• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
• Must complete physical support training provided
