Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, the Finance Clerk plays a crucial role in daily financial tasks for this Indigenous Child & Family Service Agency. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable, processing payments, and supporting payroll processing. Successful candidates should demonstrate solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable invoices accurately • Match invoices to purchase orders efficiently • Prepare cheques and electronic payment transfers • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies • Maintain organized electronic filing systems
Requirements: • Certificate or diploma in Accounting or Finance • Minimum one year experience in accounting or bookkeeping • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software • Excellent time management and communication skills • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
