The Supervisor position at NCFST in Toronto emphasizes Indigenous knowledge systems to enhance early learning and community programs. You will guide culturally rooted initiatives, ensuring impactful relationships with families and community partners. This role is fundamental in nurturing identity and belonging in Indigenous children and families while adhering to relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement culturally grounded early learning programs
• Guide emergent programming with Indigenous pedagogies
• Build relationships with Indigenous families and community partners
• Promote identity development and cultural safety in programs
• Supervise and mentor staff and students daily
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in social services
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in relevant programs
• Knowledge of Indigenous practices in early years
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
