Are you an experienced capital markets professional ready to drive collateral management and risk mitigation? Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Analyst - Capital Markets Risk & Collateral Management. This opportunity involves overseeing securitiy lending business operations related to bonds and equities, with a focus on mitigating counterparty credit risk through effective risk management strategies and proactive process improvements.

Pay rate range (CAD): $46.47/hr – $55.77/hr

Responsibilities

Monitor client portfolios daily to ensure timely collateral calls and mitigate credit risk.

Accurately input margin tickets into the collateral management system.

Interact extensively with internal teams and external clients to facilitate collateral processes and resolve issues.

Conduct process reviews in accordance with Global Short-term Markets Policy.

Resolve and elevate collateral discrepancies or disputes effectively.

Reconcile repo collateral statements and address margining disputes.

Contribute ideas for operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.





Stay informed about capital markets risk issues and assess their impact on exposures.

Support control functions to maintain process integrity and compliance.

Foster a respectful environment aligned with organizational policies and guidelines.

Desired Skill-Set

5+ years of experience in capital markets or collateral management.

Robust background in fixed income securities.

Proficiency in Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivated with high initiative, quick learner, and adaptable.

Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.

Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.

Nice to Have

CFA or FRM certification.
