CEMENT TWIN SUPERVISOR – GRANDE PRAIRIE (GPC)

The Cement Twin Supervisor willreport to the Cement Coordinator and is responsible for the coordination ofvarious cement and acid operations in the field. Supervisors are responsiblefor the supervision and safety of personnel and equipment at all times, whetheron a customer’s location or between locations.

Responsibilities:

- Ensurethat Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is thepriority in all activities
- Ensureadherence to Workplace Safety, Environmental, National Safety Code, TricanWell Service Ltd, government, as well as client policies and regulations
- Investigateworkplace incidents and Initiate the disciplinary process for infractionsby operations staff
- Superviseand operate various large duty trucks over diverse outdoor terrain andconditions
- Performpre-trip and post-trip inspections by accurate completion of correspondingdriver log forms while remaining in accordance with Trican inspectionprocedures
- Conductpre-job Acidizing and Cementing calculations involving blending andmixing,



volumetric calculations and rates, as well as hydrostaticcalculations
- Conductsupervision along with rig-up of treating iron, manifolds and recordingequipment
- Performsupervision and rig-out of all equipment for travel and conduct movementto following site
- Performand supervise maintenance operations to units and auxiliary equipment
- Assistwith the evaluation and training process of operations personnel
- Performthree of each standard Primary Cementing treatments or three of eachstandard Acid treatments

Experience & Skills:

- Minimumtwo years experience in cement operations
- ValidClass 1 driver’s licence is required
- Pressurepumping experience is preferred
- Highschool diploma is an asset
- Safedriving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
- Physicallydemanding, heavy lifting required
- Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
