LOGISTICS DRIVER - RED DEER (RDC)

The Logistics Driver is responsible for the safe operation of equipment during their shift.

Responsibilities:

- Ensurethat Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is thepriority in all activities
- Operatevarious large duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weatherconditions
- Attendpre-job safety meeting on location
- Performpre/post trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
- Performrig-in/out of all equipment for travel
- Operateall equipment in a secure and responsible manner
- Establishand maintain effective communication with colleagues
- Consultwith supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies




- Assistin all required equipment maintenance
- Ensureall required paperwork is completed in a timely manner

Experience & Skills:

- ValidClass 1 Driver's licence is required
- Highschool diploma is an asset
- Safedriving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
- Physicallyfit - heavy lifting required
- Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
- Strongleadership and managerial skills
- Skilledin problem-solving techniques
