The Research Assistant will work under the supervision of Dr. David Huntsman and a multidisciplinary team. This role requires expertise in laboratory protocols, troubleshooting, and histological techniques such as H&E; staining and tissue processing. You will support molecular pathology studies within a diverse and dynamic research setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute routine laboratory procedures for various staining methods • Troubleshoot technical issues and summarize experimental results • Process and prepare tissue specimens for research projects • Maintain laboratory equipment and track usage logs • Train staff and students in laboratory procedures
Requirements: • Technical program completion or university degree in a relevant field • Minimum three years of related experience or equivalent • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to respect diverse perspectives • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols
