Join the Near North District School Board as a Temporary Speech Language Pathologist, supporting the East & North Regions from September 2, 2026. This role plays a key role in assessing and treating children’s communication disorders.
Reporting to the Principal of Special Education, you will leverage your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to provide clinical services in diverse school environments. This position requires a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology along with current registration with CASLPO. Your focus will be on fostering communication success for students through effective treatment and assessment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess communication disorders in students • Deliver tailored treatment plans and consultation • Supervise Communication Disorders Assistants effectively • Travel to various school locations for service delivery • Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
Requirements: • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology • Holds a valid CASLPO registration • Proven experience with children’s speech and language challenges • Must possess a vehicle for travel • Willingness to work itinerantly
