Made Possible.Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Supervisor position is responsible for developing, improving and maintaining all production activities within our organization, as well as, direct involvement with process improvement projects throughout the facility. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment that will work with all levels of employees and management within our facility and coordinating ideas into evaluation and implementation. They understand and align business operations and Production as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCoordinates and manages all production activities (production planning, acquisitions, product manufacturing, quality standard application etc.) on scheduleOptimizes production (planning work interruptions, implementing systems, structures, tools, work methods, etc.) while never losing sight of deadlines, costs,



quality and H&SOptimizes production using ongoing improvement tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, etc.)Interacts with Customer Service and Sales regarding incoming ordersCommunicates with Plant Manager and other department managers regarding the necessary equipment and materials to run productResolves customer/sales issues with schedulingEnsures production schedule meets customer requirementsMaintains Corporate goals for Safety, NLF, OTD, OEE, QSR fill Rate and Working CapitalOther duties as assigned.Coordinates new business endeavorsCoordinate with Structural Designer, Estimator on Packing Specs, layouts, design structure and production throughput for all new businessParticipates in developing training programs for employees in his/her department and ensures the transfer of knowledgeIdentifies risky situations and involve the employees in the preventative steps.
