Job Description

Qualifications

- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
- Operating Room Nursing Certificate required
- Minimum of 1-year current O.R. experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Laser certification required
- Canadian Perioperative Nursing Certification an asset
- Current BCLS/HCP certification required
- Demonstrated knowledge sensitivity and expertise in the care of seniors and their families
- Gentle Persuasive Approach training preferred




- Familiarity with HSM OR and/or basic computer competencies
- Demonstrates ability to function effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrates ability to function in emergency and highly stressful situations
- Good attendance and work record is essential
- A resume regarding further education special courses and experience should accompany the application
