Technical Lead – Branch Technology

Location:Toronto, ON
Work Arrangement:Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite in Downtown Toronto
Contract:September to end of October, with high potential for extension

Role Overview

Our client is seeking aTechnical Leadto join an in-flight initiative within the Branch Technology portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of technical solutions and will be responsible for identifying, tracking, and driving technical dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle. The role will involve approximately50% technical leadership and 50% technical project management.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop a strong understanding of the technical solution being implemented and identify, track, and drive technical dependencies.
- Support the development of aDevice Hubthat will enable peripheral devices within branches, such asCash Recycling Units, to interface with a cloud-based database solution.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to the development team.
- Work closely withSTO, Solution Architects, and business stakeholdersto support technical decisions that impact solution delivery.




- Collaborate with the Scrum Master and Business Analysts to break down, estimate, and plan work products for upcoming sprints.

Required Technical Experience

- .NET development experienceis highly preferred.
- Solid technical leadership experience.
- Experience understanding and managing technical dependencies within complex technology initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively with development teams, architects, business stakeholders, and external partners.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in a role combining technical leadership and technical project management.

Nice to Have

Experience working withbranch peripheral devices, such as Cash Recycling Units.
