Must posses a valid food service sanitation certificate

Experience in quantity cooking

Ability to follow purchasing procedures

Ability to relate well to staff and students

Ability to adjust standardized recipes for given lunch count

Knowledge of nutritional requirements of children as it relates to the Federal guidelines of school lunch

Ability to follow through to ensure that consistent and quality food products are prepared and served

Responsibilities:

Keep accurate records

Plan and assist in preparation of foods using methods which reatin nutritive value

Ensure that sanitary practices are followed in food preparation, service and clean up

Coordinate and oversee food service operations.
