Advance your career in agriculture with Olds College of Agriculture & Technology as a Research Technician, conducting applied research in various settings, including fields and laboratories.This permanent position involves critical experimentation, data collection, and analysis in collaboration with the OCCI crops team. You will also mentor others while ensuring adherence to established protocols and contributing to the effective dissemination of research findings.Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute small-plot research experiments- Review and update research protocols and safety documents- Manage and organize data collection systematically- Operate agricultural equipment safely and effectively- Document and communicate research insights to stakeholdersRequirements:- Relevant post-secondary education (minimum two years)- Class 5 driver's license and ability to obtain pesticide license- Hands-on field and laboratory experience- Knowledgeable in agricultural equipment operations- Strong collaboration and communication skillsContribute to creative agricultural research and educational growth at Olds College through your expertise and passion.#J-18808-Ljbffr
