GPU Compilers, Graphics, Performance Optimization
TalentLab is recruiting GPU Compiler Engineers at multiple levels to join a team developing the software and compiler technology behind next-generation GPU platforms.
This is a highly technical role at the intersection of
compiler development, GPU architecture and graphics systems . You'll work closely with GPU hardware, driver and software teams to develop and optimize compiler technology, improve GPU performance and power efficiency, and help bring new GPU architectures from development through production.
We're open to engineers at several career levels, from strong early-career compiler developers through senior technical leaders.
What You'll Work On
Design, develop and optimize compiler technology for up-to-date GPU architectures.
Develop compiler software supporting new GPU features and hardware capabilities.
Analyze and optimize GPU performance, power and efficiency.
Work closely with GPU architecture, hardware, driver and software teams.
Develop functional models, simulations and software used to verify GPU functionality and correctness.
Create and run graphics workloads and tests to evaluate functionality, performance and power.
Investigate complex compiler, driver and GPU interactions and identify opportunities for optimization.
Contribute to the architecture and implementation of future GPU capabilities.
Produce technical documentation and detailed feature specifications.
At senior levels, provide technical direction and influence architecture and implementation decisions across teams.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Professional experience in compiler development or closely related low-level systems software.
Strong programming skills, particularly C/C++.
Understanding of compiler architecture, optimization and code generation.
Experience working close to hardware and debugging complex software/hardware interactions.
Strong analytical and performance optimization skills.
Particularly Relevant Experience We're especially interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
LLVM or similar compiler infrastructure.
GPU architecture and microarchitecture.
Graphics or compute drivers.
GPU performance analysis and optimization.
Shader compilers or graphics pipelines.
Parallel computing and highly parallel architectures.
Graphics APIs or compute environments.
For more senior positions, we're interested in engineers with deep compiler and/or GPU expertise who can provide technical leadership, influence architecture and work effectively with senior engineering leadership.
Multiple levels are available , and scope will be matched to the experience and technical depth of the successful candidate.
