I am currently looking for a regular pet sitter, sometimes for drop in dog walking/food and water/30 minute visit, and sometimes for 24-hour care in my home while I am away. Bird experience is not required. Having a sense about animals that live in flock or herd is helpful (she has made great friends with horse people in the past). The dogs are safe and good and delightful. Jabber the parrot is fun and cute and complicated. And all birds bite. The setup here is very safe for everyone, and I can teach you how to not invite the bird to bite you.
