Oversee essential IPAC initiatives as the Infection Prevention and Control Manager at the City of Toronto. This full time position at Seven Oaks Long-Term Care aims to enhance healthcare delivery through rigorous standards and training.

The City of Toronto's Seniors Services and Long-Term Care Division is seeking an experienced Infection Control Manager. You will lead a team in ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards, manage outbreaks, and foster a culture of safety. This role includes monitoring budgets and collaborating with various health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct monthly infection surveillance and reporting • Train staff on infection control protocols • Lead outbreak response initiatives • Administer annual vaccination programs • Collaborate with public health units for best practices

Requirements: • Degree in health-related discipline or relevant experience • Active registration with a regulatory body in Ontario • Certification in Infection Control considered advantageous • Proven experience in long-term care • Experience supervising staff in unionized settings
