This permanent, full-time position with the Office of the CAO requires collaboration across various municipal departments. As a Coordinator, you will provide support to tenants navigating housing-related issues and municipal by-laws. Your role will directly impact housing stability while helping to connect tenants with appropriate resources and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist tenants with the Residential Tenancies Act and related processes • Support tenants facing property standards or safety concerns • Develop educational materials for tenants and landlords • Identify at-risk tenants and connect them to resources • Monitor municipal rental housing by-laws for compliance
Requirements: • Education in Planning, Health, or Human Services • Experience in housing stability and tenant rights • Solid interpersonal skills for diverse populations • Knowledge of Provincial housing legislation • Ability to produce clear, concise reports
