Integrate or develop solutions for selected projects Actively participate in the implementation of a robust and sustainable IS ecosystem Perform necessary test plans to deliver quality products Select and implement the best information security strategies Document integrations and developments (documentation, procedures, etc.) Participate in the creation of software architecture Provide training and support to users Support the business team Flexible schedule with accommodating office hours Friday afternoons off year-round Up to 5 weeks of vacation per year, including 3 weeks upon being hired Group insurance 13 paid holidays Retirement plan with employer contributions Profile of a FullStack Programmer-Analyst Analysis and communication skills Organized, autonomous, and detail-oriented Self-taught; able to learn quickly and independently Good judgment; able to make quick, sound decisions Strong focus on customer satisfaction Recognized for expertise, thoroughness, passion, and teamwork (able to work well in teams and with stakeholders from various backgrounds) Experience with agile methodologies Qualifications
College diploma in computer science or a related discipline OR equivalent professional experience At least 3 years of experience in information technology in this role and function Experience in systems integration (system interconnection, data, API, etc.) Experience in software design, development, and debugging (Web and Desktop) Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts Good knowledge of SQL databases and T‑SQL Familiarity with Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio environments Knowledge of source code management platforms Knowledge of LCNC platforms (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) (asset) Understanding of the business processes of a manufacturing company (asset) Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken (asset) Willingness to travel between our two plants (Saint-Germain-de-Grantham and Saint-François-Xavier-de-Brompton) Valmetal has a policy of non-discrimination in hiring.
