This permanent role involves a range of technical and clerical duties within the Medical Device Reprocessing Department. You'll be responsible for the sterilization and function testing of medical devices, along with maintaining records. Preferred qualifications include knowledge in microbiology and infection control, and experience within the medical device reprocessing field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Decontaminate and sterilize medical and surgical devices
• Operate and manage MDR-related equipment




• Reassemble and conduct function tests on supplies
• Accurately perform record-keeping and clerical tasks
• Apply infection control knowledge throughout the process
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Program preferred
• Previous experience in a reprocessing setting
• Familiarity with anatomy and microbiology
• Capable of lifting 30 pounds and performing repetitive tasks
