As a Trades Supervisor, you will oversee the work of skilled trades staff and coordinate contractor activities. This full time position requires technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, along with the ability to facilitate training and support for your team. • Supervise and evaluate skilled trades staff and contractors • Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance • Prepare schedules and monitor compliance with city standards • Investigate service issues and initiate corrective actions • Maintain records and requisition materials for municipal facilities

Requirements: • Grade 12 and completed electromechanical apprenticeship • Red Seal Electrician Certification required • Class A FSR Certificate of Qualification • Class 5 Driver’s License for British Columbia • Considerable supervisory experience in related fields
