In the role of Patient Care Assistant, you will assist patients with daily living activities under the guidance of Registered Nurses. Your responsibilities will include helping with personal hygiene, escorting patients to treatments, and maintaining their safety during meal times. Additionally, you'll be involved in monitoring and reporting on patient conditions to ensure effective care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care for patients, including hygiene tasks
• Escort patients for diagnostics and treatments off-unit
• Assist with meals while ensuring patient safety and well-being




• Help patients organize personal belongings and assist with laundry
• Participate in team meetings and report observations
Requirements:
• Grade ten plus graduation from a related Mental Health program
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Robust communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Effective teamwork and interaction with patients
• Physical ability to fulfill job requirements
