The Successful Candidate Must Possess The Following

Minimum 5 years classroom teacher experience Specialized Expertise: At least 1 year of dedicated experience or educational background in one of the following is an asset:

Learning Supports or Inclusive Education (e.g., LST, or specialized certification)



Working with students who are English as an Additional Language Learners Literacy or Numeracy Coaching

The Successful Candidate Will

have the ability to implement Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Tiered Interventions (MTSS) to ensure all students can access curriculum appropriate to their level be well-versed in student support planning in development and actualization of Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) and positive behaviour support plans excel in the implementation of complex behavioural supports demonstrate data-driven advocacy and are skilled in using progress monitoring and assessments to translate student needs into actionable classroom strategies work effectively with teams of teachers and support staff to coach and model effective practices that will build staff capacity to address classroom complexities Pre-employment Requirements

Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at .
