This is a cross-functional actuarial opportunity offering broader exposure to financial planning, forecasting and business performance beyond traditional reserving work. The role is well suited to a P&C; actuary with a corporate actuarial or reserving background who is interested in expanding their exposure to FP&A; and financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Support financial planning, forecasting and actuarial analysis across P&C; insurance portfolios.
- Analyze premiums, exposures, loss ratios, expenses, cash flows and other key business performance metrics.
- Support monthly financial reporting and reforecasting, including analysis and development of key actuarial and business assumptions.
- Apply corporate actuarial and reserving knowledge to support forecasting, financial analysis and business planning.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models, databases, reporting tools and analytical processes.
- Partner cross-functionally with actuarial, finance,



underwriting and other business teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate and streamline recurring actuarial and reporting processes.
- Prepare analysis, presentations and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of P&C; actuarial experience, ideally within corporate actuarial, reserving, valuation or a related financial reporting function.
- Solid understanding of P&C; reserving concepts, financial reporting and insurance financial statements.
- Experience with IFRS 17 and corporate actuarial reporting is highly preferred.
- Progress toward an actuarial designation is preferred; relevant P&C; corporate actuarial experience will be highly valued.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with actuarial, finance and business stakeholders.
