Assistant Manager, Post Harvest

to support our Post Harvest department in Fredericton, New Brunswick. In this role, you will help manage the day-to-day post-harvest operation and the team responsible for ensuring our flower meets PURPLEFARM's quality standards from harvest through drying, curing, trimming and preparation for packaging. What You’ll Do

Support the daily management of post-harvest activities including harvesting, trimming, drying, curing, bucking, packaging preparation and storage Supervise, coach and support Post-Harvest Technicians Coordinate daily staffing, work assignments and production schedules Ensure operations comply with Health Canada Cannabis Regulations, GPP requirements and EUGMP standards Monitor drying and curing environments, including temperature, humidity and airflow Verify production documentation, batch records, logbooks and electronic records Maintain material identification, segregation and traceability throughout the process Monitor product quality and elevate deviations or quality concerns to Quality Assurance Support investigations involving deviations, CAPAs, non-conformances and customer complaints Ensure equipment is cleaned, sanitized, maintained and calibrated according to approved schedules Coordinate with Cultivation, QA, Production, Sanitation and Logistics teams Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, yield, quality and labour utilization Monitor production KPIs including throughput, yield recovery, labour efficiency, waste and schedule adherence Train,



mentor and evaluate employees while supporting cross-training and skill development Participate in performance coaching and employee reviews Support internal audits, Health Canada inspections and EUGMP audit preparation Assist with SOP development, revisions and implementation Act as the Post-Harvest Manager when delegated or during absences What We're Looking For

Ability to obtain or maintain the required security clearance Strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements Ability to work effectively in a highly regulated environment Knowledge of cannabis-industry equipment and occupational health and safety requirements Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding production workplace Previous cannabis experience is an asset but is not required. This is a hands-on role within our Fredericton production facility. Candidates must be comfortable:

Standing for extended periods Using their hands and fingers for extended periods Wearing gloves and other required PPE Working around strong cannabis aromas Working in environments where pollen, allergens, dust, chemicals, noise and other production-related conditions may be present Compensation

Compensation is based on education and experience. Entry Level

1–3 years of supervisory experience = $55,000–$62,000 annually Mid-Level

3–5 years of cannabis or manufacturing experience = $62,000–$70,000 annually Senior

5+ years of GPP, GMP or EUGMP experience = $70,000–$80,000 annually Schedule

This is a
