Job Description As part of TD Insurance , the Data, Analysis, and Insight (DAI) group supports internal business partners by providing valuable insights and analyses. There are currently 2 roles available, one supporting the Fraud pillar and the second one supporting our Affinity Market pillar. Within DAI, the Fraud Insights team and Affinity Market Insights team are trusted partners to executive, operational, and actuarial stakeholders such as Fraud Operations, Affinity Market, Pricing, Underwriting, Product, Vendor Management, and others. The team combines talent from actuaries, business intelligence analysts, and data specialists to provide business‑specific insights and analytics to our partners to help guide decision‑making. Fraud Insights : Relied on to investigate emerging fraud schemes and trends, the team generates KPI monitoring, in‑depth analyses, as well as actionable recommendations to partners supporting the full fraud funnel, from fraud prevention to fraud detection. Affinity Market Insights : Relied on to analyze emerging closing, retention and behavioral trends, Group performance and penetration rate, the team generates KPI monitoring,
in‑depth analyses, as well as actionable recommendations to partners. The Manager will explore all aspects of fraud data and fraud processes with the opportunity to collaborate with key partners across the organization. You will be instrumental in the delivery of key strategic priorities with regular opportunities to present analyses and reporting broadly to partners and executives. Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Operational Insights, the manager will be involved in the following key activities: Lead and develop a group of actuarial and data analysts specializing in fraud/affinity data, analytics, and explainability of results Manage work on key initiatives related to fraud/affinity, workload management, and the development of innovative analytical solutions. Contribute to the timely delivery and presentation of regular monitoring and analyses, monitoring performance and perks to partners and executives across the organization. Oversee end‑to‑end analyses and insights solutions over a range of complexity, from the initial demand to the delivery of reporting or analysis and presentation of results. Apply an effective and collaborative approach to stakeholder management. Build and nurture positive working relationships with key partners and executives as appropriate. Build for the future and provide people leadership; oversee personal development plans and strategies to attract, motivate and retain highly diverse, qualified and engaged team members. Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Engineering or relevant discipline. Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience Strong programming skills (SQL, Python, R). Highly developed problem‑solving and analysis skills with consistent rigor in quality of work. Uses innovation and creativity to improve work efficiency and results.
