Take on a meaningful role at the City of Windsor as a Caretaker for the Windsor Public Library. This part time position focuses on facilities maintenance and community service. In the temporary part time Caretaker position, you will report to the Supervisor of Facilities, addressing various cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Your role is vital for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of library spaces, ensuring they are ready for community engagement. You will also assist with repairs and outdoor upkeep. Key Responsibilities:
Clean library interiors, including floors, windows, and restrooms
Maintain the grounds, including litter removal and weeding
Prepare spaces for events by setting up furniture and equipment
Assist in minor repairs and maintenance tasks
Transport library materials between locations as needed Requirements:
Completion of Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma
Over three months of building maintenance experience
Ability to work weekends and a valid driver’s license
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Willingness to adapt to changing tasks Play a key role in fostering a clean and welcoming workplace at the Windsor Public Library.
