This position seeks to leverage your safeguarding expertise to develop and implement key policies, procedures, and training materials. You will assess risks and gaps while recommending practical improvements for safeguarding practices across various programs.
The goal is to foster a culture that effectively addresses abuse and exploitation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safeguarding policies and standards
Assess organizational safeguarding risks and implement mitigations
Design training and workshops for staff and stakeholders
Monitor progress on safeguarding recommendations from audits
Create safeguarding documentation and resources
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in related fields
At least 7 years in safeguarding or protection roles
Demonstrated expertise in safeguarding practices
Proficiency in training and stakeholder engagement
Knowledge of CHS and safeguarding standards
