Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate care and staff allocation in the unit
Ensure protected nursing practices for acute sickle cell management
Provide mentorship to junior nurses and students
Engage in quality improvement and clinical governance
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
NMC registration and at least 2 years of relevant experience
Experience at Band 6 level in similar settings
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Commitment to continuous learning and development
Preferably hold a mentorship qualification
Lead transformation in patient care as a Charge Nurse at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
