Drive meaningful change as a Strategic Policy Analyst with Tsawwassen First Nation.
Your role will encompass legislative development and policy analysis, enhancing community governance. Reporting to the Manager of Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs, this position requires solid analytical skills and experience in negotiation. You'll be tasked with crafting recent policies and ensuring adherence to the Tsawwassen Treaty while fostering relationships between various stakeholders.
Your contributions will have a lasting effect on the community’s growth and operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and amend Tsawwassen legislation and policies
Provide research and analysis for senior management decision-making
Facilitate negotiations with federal and provincial partners
Support program evaluations and compliance assessments
Prepare briefing materials for the Tsawwassen Legislature Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in public policy or related field
Three or more years’ experience in a similar role
Knowledge of governmental interactions and treaty processes
Robust written and verbal communication abilities
Capacity to manage projects under tight deadlines Play a pivotal role in shaping policies that streamline governance and enhance community welfare within Tsawwassen First Nation.
