Join Keewatin-Patricia District School Board as a Long Term Occasional Teacher at Sioux North High School. This full time position spans from August 31 until the current teacher returns, but extends no later than June 25, 2027. KPDSB serves a diverse range of approximately 5,000 students in Northwestern Ontario. Candidates must hold an OCT Certificate with a preference for those experienced in Intermediate/Senior and Construction education.

Teach engaging lessons reflecting Ontario’s educational standards
Collaborate with educational partners and fellow staff
Support First Nations, Inuit, and Metis student initiatives
Implement cutting-edge teaching and learning strategies
Ensure a culturally responsive educational workplace Requirements:
Valid OCT Certificate with appropriate teaching qualifications
Knowledge of Ontario Curriculum and teaching strategies
Experience working with Indigenous communities and students
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Compliance with Vulnerable Sector Check policy Contribute to educational excellence in the KPDSB community.
