We are seeking a talented Lighting Artist proficient in RenderMan and Katana to craft stunning visual effects for film and TV. Leverage your skills in a cooperative setting. This position demands a minimum of one year of experience in a CGI-focused production role. You will optimize render settings in RenderMan, ensure continuity in shots, and mentor junior team members. Your robust communication and analytical skills will contribute significantly to project success. Key Responsibilities:
Handle lighting and rendering tasks for CG shots
Set up AOVs in RenderMan for fine output control
Mentor junior artists and guide their work
Check quality of render layers before compositing
Participate in production reviews for project feedback Requirements:
At least 1 year experience in 3D lighting artistry
Strong knowledge of RenderMan and Katana
Proficient in Foundry Nuke for compositing
Ability to write basic Python scripts
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts preferred Shape the visual landscape in a collaborative team as a Lighting Artist.
