Hastings Utilities Contracting is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Journeyperson Powerline Technicians (JPL) to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in powerline construction and maintenance, with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to secure work practices in utility environments.

Job Type: Contract

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of field experience
Valid DZ driver’s license (mandatory)

Current certifications in:
Working at Heights (WHA)
Utility Work Protection Code (UWPC)
Confined Space Entry
WHMIS
Robust understanding of secure work practices and utility construction standards
Ability to work in a team-oriented and safety-focused environment

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts
Weekend work may be required based on operational needs

Compensation:
Wages are in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement with the Union, Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW)
