In this pivotal Manager role, you will ensure the effective functioning of the IPAC program within VCH. You'll manage a skilled team dedicated to enforcing best practices in infection control, engaging with multiple stakeholders.
Your strategic mindset will help improve the delivery of IPAC services, ensuring regulatory compliance and championing quality improvement initiatives across acute, community, and long-term care settings. Key Responsibilities:
Manage IPAC program operations across designated facilities
Develop standards and protocols for infection prevention
Lead team activities and support program coordination
Engage in stakeholder communication and education
Monitor and evaluate infection control strategies Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Sciences
Minimum five years of relevant experience in Infection Control
Certificate from an IPAC-Canada approved course
Current CBIC Certification or must obtain within two years
