JOB DESCRIPTIONLocation: Hybrid | Downtown, TorontoDuration: 12 MonthsOur client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Sr. Program Manager - Murex, ION, Treasury, Capital Markets to monitor and ensure the quality of project deliverables, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.Typical Day in role:Vendor management: management of the deliverables and the outcomes of the vendorProject Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the bank's Tech's strategic goals and business objectives.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, and external partners, to ensure alignment and transparency throughout project lifecycles.Risk Management: Implement robust project management methodologies and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery. Escalate critical issues and drive decision-making and accountability by supporting cross-functional executive and senior management forums to align opportunities, challenges and required actions.Effective Communication: Consistently interact professionally with clients both in business and technology to manage project expectations and deliverables within allocated timelines and budget.Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure the quality of project deliverables, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Manage Priorities: Effectively manage changing priorities,



project risks and issues along with impact and mitigation plans. Facilitate change requests for major impact on scope, schedule, resourcing, and budget.Must Have Skills:10 + years' project management experienceHands-on experience with Murex and experience in Treasury and Capital market required10+ years of experience with demonstrated executive presence and proven delivery leadershipExperience managing projects with budgets of $10 million or more (smaller budget programs may not be a fit)Nice-To-Have Skills:Experience in other Top 5 banks / FIs - mutual funds, insurance companies, etc.Previous bank experienceION experience is preferred, not requiredSoft Skills Required:Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsHighly motivated, detailed and result orientedExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issuesEducation:Post-secondary education is nice-to-have, hands-on experience preferredPMP or equivalent certification preferredFP Inc. is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all team members and clients feel like they belong.
