You will partner with business, technology, risk, privacy, compliance, Data Owners, and Data Stewards to improve trust, accountability, and business value from enterprise data. This role is responsible for defining enterprise data quality frameworks, business rules, governance practices, KPIs, KRIs, reporting, and data lineage standards while enabling enterprise data governance capabilities across Microsoft Purview, Azure, Databricks, and Unity Catalog. We are seeking an experienced data management leader with strong expertise in data governance, data quality, enterprise reporting, and stakeholder engagement.This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Director, Data Governance and Management. This role offers a flexible work arrangement. Candidates located in British Columbia will work in a hybrid environment, while candidates located in Ontario may work remotely from their home office.Your Role in Supporting Our Members:Establishing and operationalizing Vancity's Enterprise Data Quality Management Program including frameworks, standards, operating models, governance processes, issue management, and continuous improvement practicesDesigning and implementing enterprise data quality standards, procedures, controls, and monitoring practicesPartnering with Data Owners, Data Stewards, subject matter experts, and technical teams to define and implement business rules, validation rules, and quality controlsEnabling enterprise data governance capabilities across Microsoft Purview, Unity Catalog, Azure, and Databricks platformsDeveloping enterprise data quality KPIs, KRIs, scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting to support visibility and accountabilityMonitoring data quality performance, trends, risks, and remediation activities to support informed decision-makingLeading the development and operationalization of business and technical data lineage practices to improve traceability and trust in enterprise reportingSupporting regulatory readiness, audit requirements,
