Raising The Village seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee financial management in a hybrid role based in Toronto. This position focuses on accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with internal processes. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will maintain the financial records for Canadian operations and support essential financial activities, including audits and month-end, year-end closing processes.

This role requires a hands-on approach to financial management to support the organization's mission in poverty alleviation. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain comprehensive records of financial transactions
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
Identify prospects for process improvement Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of Sage ERP or similar
Solid numerical and analytical capabilities
