Become a key player at Makivvik as a Communications Coordinator focused on social media management and internal communications strategy. Your skills will enhance community outreach and organizational messaging. In this role, you will report to the Communications Director and work on developing and executing communication plans.

You will manage social media content creation, design surveys, and provide strategic communication support. Collaboration is essential as you liaise with both internal teams and external partners to ensure successful message dissemination. Key Responsibilities:
Measure and implement communication strategies
Lead internal communications resource development
Create diverse written content including social media posts




Manage external messaging and event communications
Provide crisis communication support as required Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or equivalent
4+ years of experience in communications with social media emphasis
Bilingual: English and Inuktitut; French is an asset
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft tools
