Join the Children and Family Support Team to provide compassionate pre and post bereavement support to children and families. This role involves working in various settings including schools, homes, and the hospice. As a Children’s and Families Support Worker, you'll engage with children and young people affected by a parent's life-limiting condition or death. Ideal candidates should bring a certificate, diploma, or degree in healthcare, education, or social work.

Key responsibilities include offering therapeutic support creatively through art, play, or music therapies to aid in healing and coping. Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support sessions
Engage families in therapeutic activities
Collaborate in schools and community settings




Maintain records of support sessions
Ensure compliance with DBS checks for protection Requirements:
Qualification in healthcare, education, or social work
Experience with children and families in various settings
Background in bereavement support and loss
Creative approach in therapeutic interactions
Experience in group facilitation and family support Deliver meaningful support to children and families during challenging times through your expertise in bereavement and therapeutic practices.
