Ayrton Energy is on the lookout for a Senior Cell Development Scientist to join its Calgary team. This position zeroes in on the hands-on research and development of hydrogen storage systems via electrochemical approaches. If you are passionate about clean technology and have taken cell technologies from the lab to pilot scale, this position is tailor-made for you.
You will lead experiments, analyze degradation mechanisms, and contribute to creative solutions with a agile, motivated group of specialists dedicated to transforming energy systems. Key Responsibilities:
Lead development and testing of electrochemical cell systems
Execute performance experiments and collect data
Perform materials characterization and analysis
Support electrode fabrication and quality checks
Work with teams to integrate findings across disciplines Requirements:
Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or related fields
Minimum 5 years in electrochemical cell technology
Solid laboratory experience in relevant techniques
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate
