The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) enlists Aircraft Structures Technicians to maintain, inspect and repair CAF aircraft and life-support systems. They work with metal, composite, and textile components and perform welding, fabrication and corrosion control tasks in hangar and shop settings.
Training begins with Basic Military Qualification, then occupation training at CFSATE in Ontario, with further specialization offered through on-the-job programs and NCMSTEP.
