This is a contract position. The candidate must be experienced and be willing to work nighttime hours as well as during the week and weekends. Those candidates without this flexibility will not be considered. The client requires full care (eating, bath, dressing ) and occassionally catheterization. Note the nighttime is a separate contract with a fixed sum. Applicants will work within a team as well as independently. The responsibilities include giving and logging all medication, checking and maintaining g-tube site, light house-work to maintain the working area, excellent interpersonal skills and above all, delivering compassionate and personalized care to the client. RN rates per hour are slightly higher than those of RPN candidates. Spanish and French speakers welcome who have CLB 5 or higher levels of English. (B1 + international level)
